I felt that I had to put up a journal just to talk about this subject...also because I havent written a journal in some time now.
Over these last few months, I've been compelled to try and push at my comfort zone and go out of my normal boundaries, to try and draw art for things I haven't tried before. You'll have noticed that some of my recent uploads have been quite varied - Five Nights At Freddy's, Pokemon, Vocaloid, How To Train Your Dragon etc...
It's because I have felt a bit of a disconnect with the Sonic fandom. Don't get me wrong, it was one of the main styles that got me into drawing in the first, and of course I still adore my OCs C8LIN and Deux and some of the others I have created. I also love drawing my friend's characters, and I love the interactions we have with each other.
But I've fallen out of love with the current direction Sonic is going. I haven't properly enjoyed playing a Sonic game since Generations, and even then, it was brief. I played the Steam version of Generations, as I was utterly disappointed with the mess that was Generations 3DS. Thus I havent felt compelled to draw Sonic style art. I was drawn into drawing MLP fan art because even with it's ups and downs, I still really enjoy it. That is probably why I created a separate MLP account so that those who also are only interested in that art can just focus on it (it's here btw if you didn't know already - ScribbleSketchScoo )
Now onto the main point I wanted to make with this journal.
I don't think I'll be uploading art to this account anymore.
Well more the fact that I am conflicted on whether I should do so or not. I have begun to notice that my older art works gain a lot more attention than my new stuff and I am talking the REALLY old stuff - my old Kingdom Sonic series of pictures, those older style of MLP crossover pictures that I drew. I mean I would like to think that my drawing style has improved since then but when my much older work is getting more attention that the new stuff I am doing, it kind of disheartens me.
And I think it's because this account has become TOO associated with Sonic style work, and that is no one's fault. People will like what they like, they will fave or comment on what they want but it's starting to make me feel like that is the only art people seem to expect or want from me.
Now I have created an art tumblr blog, which you can find here - scribblesketchscoo.tumblr.com/ - where I post all of my recent work and even some works in progress now and then. I usually link this to my RedBubble store where people who are interested can buy my art in different formats - www.redbubble.com/people/scrib… - in the hopes to reach out to different people.
I may still post silly doodles and gifts for friends on this account, but I feel like I should put my new stuff solely on Tumblr. If anyone would like to share their thoughts or opinions on this then please feel free to comment. I just feel that after so long, this is the direction I may need to take.
Comments are welcome, and encouraged~

Update
So I thought I may as well post this journal since I haven't updated this journal in quite some time and people are quite out of the loop.
I'm not really active on deviantart anymore, the only reason I still have it is so I can keep up to date with the work of my friends who post here. I answer the occasional comment here and there but I probably won't be posting anything on here any time soon. In terms of art work, I've strayed away from drawing Sonic related things, hence why I don't really draw it anymore. I'm more interested in drawing things from anime and other video games, practising on human and more anthro like characters.

Vending at BronyScot!
Hello everybody. Been a little while since I have uploaded a journal to this account so I thought I'd give a little update to people who are maybe knew or some people who havent seen my previous journals.
The only time I'm going to be really active on this account is when I've doodled or drawn things relating to my characters or its gifts for some friends or work for projects (like silly stuff that's Neo Robia related and so on). I want to focus my other fan arts on different platforms because deviantArt just doesn't seem to be the place for my other fan arts, they don't get as much notice else where.
Saying that, if you still want to follo
Decision Made Please Read
Hello everyone. This is a journal which is basically me finally reaching my decision on the dilemma I was in in my previous journal.
I have decided that I will not CLOSE this account. I will keep it open.
However I will not be submitting art to this account unless it is either -

If you are interested in seeing my other art work - stuff from other video games, films, television shows and original pieces - then I ask that you please follow my tumblr. For those who don't use tumblr, you just need to bookmark my art blog and every now and then you can just
Thanks for the Birthday Wishes!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to pop over to my page to wish me happy birthday!
And thank you to my friends who made me feel very special for my 20th birthday, I love you guys so so much.
Don't really have anything much else to say.
I began university again, now in my third year now. The travelling is very long, about 2 hours there and back to my campus so I'm usually very tired by the time I get home. So drawing might not be on the top priority list right now...especially with Super Smash Bros coming out soon.
But yea, I'm still on a major pony kick right now, so if you'd still like to see the MLP style work I do, then check ou
